Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village. Please note: We do allow pets in our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Don't hesitate just book it!
Was a beautiful spot! Shower was recently redone or put in because it's a residential type and made me feel at home. Fantastic hosts in the office on site! Helped me greatly with what I needed! Enjoy your stay!

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site
Nice quiet campground!
We loved this quiet little campground - the sites are pretty open not super private but it wasn’t super busy so it wasn’t an issue, plus the tent sites are spaced pretty far apart. The store is nice if you forget something, they even had a food cart there while we visited (sadly didn’t get to try it but smelled good!). The map is a little out dated I believe as it looked like there was a supposed to be a trail near our site but we had to walk through another site to get to the trail? (Site 5? But there wasn’t anyone staying there so it seemed okay as other campers did the same). Bathrooms are clean and the showers looked nice. The tent sites are nice and grassy which was unexpected but a nice change from the usual dirt campground. I would warn to make sure any fees are communicated clearly before arrival, I didn’t see a pet fee on my receipt so when I arrived I wanted to make sure our dog would be covered and I was told it would be $25 a night when the listing had said $7 a night - the lady up front pulled up our reservation and she said we were paid up so I didn’t end up having to pay that luckily. But it was a pretty steep surprise when we were checking in.

Crater Lake excitement
We loved camping at monarchy’s crater lake Hip camp. Easy access, easy check in. There’s a store, creek, canoes, trails, dog and kid friendly. It’s about 25 min up the mountain to the entrance of Crater Lake National park which was lovely. We’d like to visit when it’s a little warmer.
